"Oh, excuse me," tweeted frontman Fred Durst. "16th song mixed is 'Ready To Go' featuring Lil Wayne! I love it."
A collaboration between the two camps doesn't come as a shock, either. Rumors about Wayne and Durst hitting the studio together have been floating around the blogosphere since 2009. This, being part of Limp Bizkit's first album since 2003's 'Results May Vary,' could also be a track that was originally recorded during Wayne's love affair with rock music that culminated in the divisive 'Rebirth' LP, released in early 2010.
In addition, while no track name has been confirmed, Raekwon has also indicated that he will appear on the record. While mainly considered in the swell of rap-infused heavy metal to appear at the beginning of the 2000s, Limp Bizkit has also featured Snoop Dogg, Method Man and DMX on past efforts.
Let's just hope they keep the Auto-Tune to a minimum. 'Gold Cobra' currently has no release date, but Durst is hoping for "late summer."
