'Ferrari,' which boasts production from Shawty Redd, Drumma Boy, FATBOI and Schife, is set to include 20 tracks and equally showcase each spitter's abilities. "This album is gonna be the hardest album of the year," Gucci told Billboard.com. "The songs are so clever, the beats are so slammin', and the lyrics are just so aggressive. There's so much energy that we bring to the studio. Nobody's gonna be able to top this album that me and Waka are coming out with."
The longtime associates most recently made headlines when police raided Waka's Atlanta home and arrested Gucci Mane on weapons, drugs and prostitution charges. Gucci was later transferred to a mental health facility for a mental evaluation, while Waka was locked up on charges and subsequently released on $40,000 bond.
Aside from releasing his collabo album with his Brick Squad partner in rhyme, the Atlanta rhymer is prepping the release of his 13-track street LP, 'The Return of Mr. Zone 6,' due March 22. He is already working on his next studio offering 'The Ice Cream Man,' a nod to his recent ice cream cone face tattoo, due later this fall.
