The 'Discipline' creator, who's usually quiet when it comes to her private life, has turned over a new leaf during promotion of 'True You.' "I am excited to share my story, and the lessons that I have learned on my journey to finding and loving myself," Jackson explained. "My tour is up close and personal and I can think of no better way to be close to my fans than to meet them at these book signings."
Jackson will take her book signing to the West Coast on April 15, where she'll make a rare appearance at Los Angeles' Book Soup.
The pop icon is currently touring on the U.S. leg of her "Number Ones: Up Close and Personal" tour. Last week, she commanded the stage at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, just one of the stops of 35 cities, where she works from about 30 songs taken from the 34 on her 'Number Ones' album. During her show on Friday (March 19), she dedicated 'The Best Things in Life Are Free,' her 1992 duet with Luther Vandross, and the 1989 'Rhythm Nation' to New York City.
