The Long Beach native has signed on as designer of the limited edition "Snoop Dogg x Neff Japan Tee," with all profits going to the international relief organization Operation USA, which helps countries overcome the effects leftover by natural disasters.
"I got so much love for Japan that when I heard about the recent disaster I knew I had to do what I could to help," said Snoop in a statement. "My Japanese family member, DJ 2High, called me and let me know how bad it really is, they need a lot of support and I hope that this Tee that I am doing with my NEFF family will help make a difference. I said it before and I will say it again, Keep your head up Japan."
Featuring the slogan "Keep ya head up Japan!" each shirt retails for $20. The company's goal is to raise at least $50,000 for the ravished country, in just one week.
The catastrophic quake hit the country on March 11, measuring at 8.9 on the Richter scale, and setting off a tsunami with waves of up to 31 feet. For more information, or to purchase a t-shirt visit NeffHeadwear.com.
