Hill posted a note on her new Twitter account -- she set it up just a few weeks ago to keep fans updated on her tour -- with a short intro that read "Atlanta! A message from Ms. Hill" and then proceeded to apologize and tickle fans by quoting Nicki Minaj.
"ATL, I had to come back. I'M HERE and excited for the opportunity to do what should have been done the last time," she wrote. "Starting off on the wrong foot can always be easily rectified by putting another foot down, especially in a 'monster shoe' (Nicki Minaj quotable). Come Again! Mis. Hill, Part Deux." Fans who commented on the note were especially thrilled with the ode to the 'Pink Friday' creator.
Back in January, Hill arrived three hours late for her show and proceeded to play remixed versions of songs that fans were not familiar with. "Nobody could participate because NOBODY knew the music!" one particularly irate concert-goer told Atlanta-based blog, SandraRose.com. "Everybody was looking around like 'WHAT SONG IS THIS???'"
Following her concert in Atlanta on March 30, Lauryn Hill will continue her current 12-city tour by jetting off to Hawaii. Her upcoming concert dates are as follows:
