In a home movie that's rapidly entering full-blown Internet meme territory, a grumpy baby named Chevelle is immediately shaken from her bad mood with the appearance of Cudi's glistening synthesizers and sleek after-party beats.
The track at hand, 'Cleveland Is the Reason,' off of Cudder's breakout 'A Kid Named Cudi' mixtape, nearly immediately removes the baby's scowl as she breaks into a club ready hip-hop dance. "That's my little boo," her father says. "She's gonna be a star!"
While it's a little too early to tell the star power of the toddler, it's apparent the tot has a swag surplus. No word if Cudi has watched the clip yet but if and when he does, he may just tap Chevelle's moves for one of his future music videos. As of press time, the homemade clip already had more than 300,000 views.
Cudi has actually had a relatively silent period since releasing 'Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager' last year. Most recently he was enjoying his celebrity and success by showing off a new Porsche and performing with Kanye West at the G.O.O.D. Music showcase during SXSW in early March.
