Pusha T Begins Recording Album With Kanye West

Fresh on the heels of his 'Fear of God' mixtape, Pusha T of the Clipse has announced that he has begun recording his highly anticipated G.O.O.D. Music debut with Kanye West.

Though he doesn't have a title or release date yet, the sharp-tongued Virginia rapper has accrued a devout following over the years, with fans anxiously awaiting a Pusha T solo album for the better part of the last decade, and now it appears the dream is "five or six records" closer to fruition.

"Me and Kanye have been in [the studio]. We've done a good five or six records, and we've left them alone," Pusha revealed. "Then we're gonna revisit it. We're about to go to Chile, actually this week sometime, and we'll probably do a show and just revisit some of the records."

Having signed with Kanye's label back in September, the Pusha solo album has been a long time in the making. Following label shuffles and the arrest of their longtime manager, sentenced to 32 years in prison for running an alleged $20 million cocaine ring, Pusha's debut was often discussed, but did not become a reality until the younger Thornton brother found a home on Kanye's label.

"The dope part about G.O.O.D. Music is that everybody has a lane. Like everybody has a lane," Pusha explained.

There is no word as to when his debut will actually see a release, but until then Pusha's new 'Fear of God' mixtape, which he says his older, more religious brother Malice inspired, is currently available on his website.
