The queen of hip-hop's tenth studio effort will include production from Ne-Yo, Swizz Beatz, Raphael Saadiq and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. The first single, 'Someone to Love Me (Naked),' has already been released on iTunes and features verses from Lil Wayne and Diddy. The track previously appeared on the Dirty Money album 'Last Train to Paris' without Mary's vocals.
Mary, 40, revealed that she has been working on the album since August 2010, although it was previously untitled. "From me to you, 'My Life II...' Our journey together continues in this life," Mary explained in a statement. "It's a gift to be able to relate and identify with my fans at all times. This album is a reflection of the times and lives of people all around me."
Mary J. Blige's most recent album release was 2009's 'Stronger With Each Tear', which climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Chart during its debut week, with 332,000 copies sold. Her 1994 album 'My Life' was produced by Diddy and certified three times platinum, thanks to the hit singles 'Be Happy' and 'I'm Goin' Down.'
The video for 'Someone to Love Me (Naked)' was directed by Colin Tilley and premiered on VEVO on Monday (April 4).
