Roc Nation is believed to have placed the top bid for the label, which was said to be of interest to major labels like Universal Records and Jive Records. Black Starz Music revealed that they would be involved in spotting and developing new talent with Roc Nation.
Back in 2008, Jay-Z and Live Nation partnered together to launch Roc Nation, which is not only a record label but a management company as well.
