Gucci Mane Arrested, Charged With Battery in Atlanta

Rapper Gucci Mane was arrested in Atlanta on Friday (April 8) and charged with battery.

MyFoxAtlanta.com reports that Gucci, born Radric Davis, was arrested by Dekalb County Police officials while visiting his probation officer at the Georgia Department of Corrections Probation Office. He was put in cuffs after allegedly attempting to push a woman out of a moving vehicle.

The Brick Squad rapper was charged with a misdemeanor count, but will likely face more trouble for violating his probation stemming from an early 2010 arrest. He is currently being held in Atlanta's DeKalb County Jail.

In December, Gucci was arrested at Waka Flocka Flame's home in Georgia, after it was raided by police. He was initially suspected of being involved in a prostitution ring, but later turned himself over to police on multiple charges which included possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was released on $40,000 bond. In early January, he was admitted to a mental facility for psychiatric evaluation in an attempt to skirt a possible 17-month jail stint.

Since his last run-in with the law, Gucci has announced plans to release the joint album 'The Ferrari Boys,' alongside Waka, later this spring. He dropped his 13-track mixtape 'The Return of Mr. Zone 6' on March 22, which will be followed by his next studio LP, 'The Ice Cream Man.'

All the comments about Charlie Sheen are on the Charlie Sheen page, not here. I have about the same amount of concern for that dope fiend as I do for this one.

Just another low-class trash wannabe. I never even heard of him before this. Guess he's trying to be like his "boy" who threw the chair through the window.

Ever thought that maybe most of the rappers today just spew off obsenities and the beats are all the same? I tried in vain to listen to Lil' Wayne, Drake, and Wiz Khalfia. That stuff is like rape without the lube to my ears. Double standard? Seriously, did you read the damn article? Most people think Charlie Sheen is a jack ass too. Just shut up. The race card has already been played to death.

Ever thought that maybe most of the rappers today just spew off obsenities and the beats are all the same that's why people have such disdain for this type of music? Most of rap is done by computer--where's the musicianship with todays rap? I seriously tried in vain to listen to Lil' Wayne, Drake, and Wiz Khalfia. That stuff is like rape without the lube to my ears. And double standard? Seriously, did you even bother to read the damn article? This guy is a jack ass. No excuse for anyone breaking the law like that. Most people think Charlie Sheen is a big jack ass too for your information. Just shut up. The race card has already been played to death.

Sorry for the double post.

Only thing I know about this jack ass is that dumb ass ice-ceam cone tattoo on his face. Today's rap and R&B is just crap. Aside from Jay Z and Enimen, I can't be bothered with this genre of music.
