Michael Jackson Autopsy Photos Given the Green Light

MCT

Photos of Michael Jackson's dead body will be allowed as evidence in the manslaughter trial against the late pop icon's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray.

Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor ruled Thursday (April 21) that jurors would be allowed to view photos from Jackson's autopsy, despite prosecutors claims that it would create an emotional bias in the trial. Only two photos -- one of Jackson in a hospital gown and another where he is naked but portions of his body are covered -- will be shown of Jackson's limp body on the coroner's table. The district attorney describes both photos as "not gruesome or gory."

The judge approved the photos and is allowing footage of Jackson rehearsing for his final 'This Is It' into the courtroom because both help paint a picture of the singer's health at the time of his death. "I don't think this should be entertainment," Pastor said. "We should not feel deprived of our 99-cent iTunes if we don't hear the whole song."

The judge also filtered the dirty laundry that will be allowed to air in his courtroom. Women Murray had extramarital affairs with at the time he was treating Jackson will be allowed to testify, but the disgraced doctors financial information and child support issues will be kept out of the courtroom.

The manslaughter trial is set to begin on May 9 in Los Angeles. It is expected to last 45 days and if convicted Murray faces up to four years in prison.

Jackson died on June 25, 2009, after being found lifeless in his Beverly Hills home and rushed to the nearby UCLA Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Michael Jackson was the most talented ever. Can we just acknowledge what he did for the music world and stop calling him awful names and being so mean, All the singers, dancers, and performers should say a little prayer for all the ways MJ changed the Music World. God bless his children and may justice be served.

ATTENTION PLEASE...........

It does not matter if Michael was addicted, it does not matter if he begged. I cannot go to my doctor and beg for a drug that could kill me, and have the doc give in to my plea's. The fact the Doctor choose to administer this drug, without supervision or proper monitors was the sole decision of the Doctor. If he is going to claim Michael woke up and injected himself, then its safe to say he probably was not in his right mind. If he were being supervised correctly he would have been able to stop him. But unfortunately he was not in the room taking responsibility for his chosen course of actions! All the defenses he is claiming now should have been thought about along time ago.
BOTTOM LINE DR MURRY! HE DIED ON YOUR WATCH.
HE PAID YOU TO KEEP HIM SAFE AND EXERCISE THE PROPER PROCEDURES TO MAKE SURE NOTHING HAPPENED.
HENCE WHY HE HIRED A DOCTOR INSTEAD OF THE CORNER CRACK HEAD. Don't hate..... because if I was an addict and need a fix, and I could afford a licesensed DRUG DEALER who get me what ever don't blame me for his ethics or lack there of! Michael Jackson was human just like every star in hollywood
if he were an addict, he did not start out that way Nor did Anna Nicole, heath ledger, Elvis Presely.
So let see, who is responsible? Hollywood, the music industry? Hmmm don't think they are going to take blame! So who's fault is it in these cases?

Michael Jackson paid many doctors to give him drugs, and go on the road with him and give him more drugs. It will be very hard to prove that he died because of this drug, if there were other drugs prescribed by other doctors in MJ blood when he died. He was an addict, and he died ugly, just like an addict...so did Elvis.

Yes...He was certainly out of control. The bottom line is the Dr. pushed the plunger. What happened to ethics.

The point that everyone should remember here is that Michael paid a physician 150,000.00 a year to administer all the medications that he takes and to have the expertise to know the possible adverse reactions that these drugs cause and know how to treat the patient as needed when these reactions occurred. The idea that this doctor had no idea that the drug Propophol causes a patient to stop breathing is just pathetic. This is a well known drug used in the operating room to sedate a patient during surgery! The drug is monitored by an anesthesiologist with heart and oxygen monitors because that is the action of that drug! This man is incompetent and just took the job for the money and should be procecuted for his malpractice and incompetence for the job he was hired to do. If Michael wanted to commit suicide he certainly wouldn't have hired a physician to watch over him, he would have just sent the guy home and taken an overdose. Please, this guy is a dangerous, arrogant and incompetent man who didn't even know the basic life support procedures. He actually panicked and didn't know what to do. How can this not be a crime? I am so glad they aren't going to bring his private life into the trial as this is irrelevant. He did not have the expertise to take this job and therefore is responsible for his patient's death. The fact that it was was Michael Jackson is not relevant either. The question is, did this doctor do what any qualified physician would do in this situation. I say absolutely not. He should be procecuted and his license revoked. Period.
