Flavor Flav Pulls Plug on Fried Chicken Restaurant

Flavor Flav has reportedly closed his infamous Iowa fried chicken restaurant due to mismanagement.

According to TMZ, the Public Enemy hypeman/reality TV star was forced to pull out of his contract with Nick Cimino, a partner in Flavor Flav's Fried Chicken, after opening the ill-fated chicken shack in Clinton, Iowa on Jan. 24 of this year. The partnership, which began as "love at first sight" for Flav, quickly went sour, amidst allegations of bouncing payroll checks, when Flav learned that Cimino's management was not up to his standards.

"I had a licensing agreement with Nick Cimino and that's all we had," Flav explained. "It was his business to run from there and the business was not run right."

The 'Flavor of Love' star went on to reveal that he has withdrawn his licensing agreement, out of concern for his customers' health. "Let me be straight up with you, I went up inside there on April 2 and I found potato salad that expired on February 28," he continued. "And it's then when I realized I can't do business with this man and I really hope no one ate those potatoes."

Flav has not left the chicken game completely, however. During a recent trip to Las Vegas, the clock-rocking culinary school graduate reportedly secured a deal to open Flavor Flav's House of Flavor next month
