Fresh on the heels of announcing their long-awaited Diplomats reunion album, Cam has revealed that he will be reprising two of his favorite roles in a pair of feature films, coming out on DVD later this year.
"We're working on the movie 'Cousin Bang' -- that'll be out this October," Cam explained on BET's '106 & Park' on Monday (April 25), referring to his character Cousin Bang, from the "prelude" version of his 2009 video for 'I Used to Get it in Ohio.'
Cam went on to name-check Hollywood heavyweights Queen Latifah and producer Shakim Compere, who he claims to be involved in the production and distribution of 'Cousin Bang' and an upcoming follow-up to his 2006 fan favorite 'Killa Season.'
"'Killa Season 2' comes out this December. Shout out to Queen Latifah and Shakim for helping us out with that," Cam continued.
Latifah and Compere have released almost a dozen films like 'Just Wright,' 'Beauty Shop,' 'Bringing Down the House' and 'The Perfect Holiday.'
There is no word as to who will be releasing 'Cousin Bang' and 'Killa Season 2,' or when Cam will finally release his "black 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'" show.
