Along with Miami rapper Pitbull, Minaj and Cee Lo will join previously announced performers; Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, Taio Cruz and Keith Urban.
In addition to performing, Minaj -- who is currently opening dates on Lil Wayne's 'I Am Still Music' tour -- is nominated in four categories for Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Album, Top New Artist and Top R&B song for her feature on Trey Songz' 'Bottoms Up.' Her 2010 debut album 'Pink Friday' peaked at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart after its release, and has since been certified platinum.
Cee Lo will perform cuts from his third studio album 'Lady Killer' which debuted at no. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned the mega-hit 'F--- You.' The ATL rapper and producer recently teamed up with actress Gwyneth Paltrow for a full-blown theatrical performance of the song at the 2011Grammy Awards.
The Billboard Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 22 and will be hosted by comedian Ken Jeong. The annual awards show will be broadcast on ABC from 8-11PM EST.
