Like Dre's second single, 'I Need a Doctor,' 'Die Hard' also features his protege and motivator Eminem, a key contributor to Dre's long-delayed third opus, 'Detox.' The Michael Jackson-like television promotion of their new single comes on the heels of Eminem and Dre's recent commercial appearance in a series of Chrysler ads, which debuted at this year's Super Bowl.
Em and Dre are not the only hip-hop icons involved in the upcoming match, which is one of the year's most anticipated fights. Miami boss Rick Ross has also announced that he will be involved in the fight, claiming that he will be walking Pacquaio into the ring on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
It has also been announced that Eminem will be releasing an EP with partner in rhyme Royce Da 5'9", entitled 'Bad Meets Evil,' a nod to their 1999 single of the same name, hitting stores in June, via Shady Records.
While 'Die Hard' is Dre's third official single, 'Detox' still has no firm release date.
