Warren G Announces Upcoming EP With Nate Dogg

In April, Warren G commemorated the death of his longtime friend and collaborator, Nate Dogg, with the single 'This Is Dedicated to You,' and this summer, the Regulator will release an EP featuring music from both rappers.

The West Coast MC announced the news on Twitter on Wednesday (May 11), writing, "The Nate dogg and warren g ep coming this summer! Special guest Bun B, @SnoopDogg @thegame @regulator and more," but did not reveal any additional details.

The EP will be Warren G's first official release since his 2009 album 'The G Files.' To date, his biggest hit song is still credited as 1994's 'Regulate,' thanks to a memorable hook from Nate Dogg, who is a childhood friend.

While Nate Dogg struggled to recover from multiple stokes, suffered in recent years, Warren G was an instrumental part in keeping the public informed on the ailing rapper's status. After his untimely death in March, Warren G paid tribute to him with a special segment at the annual Respect the West party at Austin, Texas' SXSW Festival.

Currently, there is no official release date for the Warren G and Nate Dogg EP. The 'Regulate' rapper's most recent and controversial business endeavor found him promoting a brand of penis enhancement pills.

Warren G is doing something very special to commemorate the memory of of childhood best friend, Nate Dogg. You got my respect, G! You are also doing what Sean "P Diddy" Combs did for his late best friend "The Notorious B.I.G." when he released "I'll Be Missing You" in BIG's honor! God Bless All of You! There should be more positive rapper like yourself out there!
