The New York Post reports that the warrant was issued last week after Rosemond was allegedly indicted for cocaine distribution. However, Rosemond's attorney Jeffrey Lichtman told the Post, "Although a federal prosecutor has told me that there is an arrest warrant out, they have refused to provide me with the warrant or a copy of the charges."
Rosemond came to prominence in the music industry with Henchmen Productions, now Czar Entertainment, which produced Groove Theory's hit 'Tell Me' and Salt-n-Pepa's 'Shoop,' as well as through being the co-creator of the How Can I Be Down? Music conference. Tupac Shakur fans should also be familiar with his name since the late rapper dropped some inflammatory rhymes in Henchman's direction on 'Against All Odds.' Rosemond has vehemently denied being involved in the infamous Quad Studios shooting of Shakur in New York City.
Most recently, Rosemond organized the concert that brought Wyclef Jean to Port-au Prince, Haiti, where the ex-Fugee was unfortunately shot in the hand. Late last year, Rosemond filed an $100 million lawsuit again the New York Daily News after the paper accused him of being a police informant.
