Nas and Marley released their collaborative album almost exactly a year ago, on May 18, 2010, and have toured for the better part of 2011, performing in over 11 countries -- from New Zealand to Portugal -- with the final performance in New York City.
SummerStage boasts a variety of hip-hop and R&B acts this year, with a Mainstage performance by Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean on July 25, and free concerts by Rakim, EPMD and Funkmaster Flex on August 21, R&B stars Jagged Edge, Avant and Melanie Fiona on August 28.
Elsewhere in New York, SummerStage is curating events with Nice and Smooth, The Awesome 2, Special Ed, Slick Rick, Kool Moe Dee, Talib Kweli, Sugarhill Gang and many more.
Tickets for the Nas and Damian Marley show on August 11 are on sale Friday (May 20), via Ticketmaster.
