A federal warrant was issued last week for the arrest of the record executive and founder of Czar Entertainment, the management company which represents Game, crooner Sean Kingston, boxing legend Mike Tyson and others.
Rosemond, who has yet to be located, is being accused of involvement in a drug organization that regularly shipped cocaine and millions in cash between New York and Los Angeles recording studios, using overnight delivery services.
TheSmokingGun.com reports that a man named Khalil Abdullah has already been charged with five counts of conspiring to distribute cocaine, distribution, possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy to commit money laundering and obstruction of justice. Several other men have been similarly charged in the case, including Rosemond's brother Kesner, who has reportedly pleaded guilty to cocaine distribution, and another man named Henry Butler, who is cooperating with the DEA in the investigation.
"Abdullah or his underlings retrieved the road cases from the studios and distributed the cocaine in New York, they would then transport millions of dollars of proceeds from narcotics sales in road cases to music studios in Los Angeles," states the indictment.
It is not yet clear what Game's manager will be charged with, nor the degree to which he was involved in the organization. His lawyer told the New York Post, "Although a federal prosecutor has told me that there is an arrest warrant out, they have refused to provide me with the warrant or a copy of the charges."
Rosemond is reportedly still a fugitive.
