According to ABC Los Angeles, the City Council are encouraging Inglewood residents to step forward with information regarding the tragic shooting of the 22-year-old 'Teach Me How to Dougie' dance originator, and help police catch his killer.
The City Council's offer came at the urging of the family of the fallen rap artist, born Montae Talbert. Days following M-Bone's death, the family held an emotional vigil at the scene of the crime. Though police continue interviewing witnesses and claim to have a description of the car, they do not yet have a clear suspect or motive for the shooting.
"He went to the store to get something to drink and, randomly, somebody pulls up, don't say no words, don't shoot a lot of shots, just did what they had to do and got on," Cali Swag member C-Smoove said, of the senseless murder. "It had to be something, but we really can't tell exactly what it was."
The Inglewood Police Department requests anyone with information to call its homicide division at (310) 412-5246 or 24-hour anonymous hotline, (888) 41 CRIME, or (888) 412-7463.
