Busta Rhymes Racks up a $9,000 Phone Bill

Busta RhymesSteven Lawton, FilmMagic

Apparently Busta Rhymes has been working on more than just a new album, he's been putting in work on the phone lines and has reportedly racked up a $9,000 bill.

Apparently the rapper was spotted at an AT&T store dealing with the astronomical bill last Friday afternoon (June 10). One fellow shopper at the phone store recounted that a frantic customer service rep was chained to the phone trying to sort out Busta's telephone tab.

According to the source, Rhymes racked up the $9K bill by rapping over the phone for the past three months. A rep for Rhymes responded, "No comment" upon questioning.

As lightning fast as Busta's rhymes are, you would think that his phone calls would be relatively brief!

Whew! At first I thought it was another story about a multi millionaire from the Projects that lost everything because he failed to hire a money manager like normal rich people do.
Busta is a Hip Hop Legend! Maybe the person writing this story could have spiced it up a bit by adding his resume. After all it is quite extensive and impressive. Otherwise it's just a story about a large phone bill.

Why is this even news? Why does anyone care about his phone bill. I don't know who was more pathetic. The person listening in on his conversation at the AT&T store or the idiot reporter that wrote the story.

lol funny since he was in a cell ad campaign for years I'm sure it's free dont u people have something better to do than hate on those who just happened to have a gift or be more fortunate than others. get mad at the people who dig themselves in to holes and cry wolf, not those who actually can do for themselves. At the end of the day it's no ones business unless ur life is so awful that u have to bring others down. in that case I pray for all of u, it's a miserable way to live life u only have one so live it to the fullest

Yo

that's the sad part. they probably are around black people all the time but only say stuff when no one will know who they are. meanwhile if they said it to one of them in person they would get a nice beat down. but seriously, people need to reject thoughts like that and analyze why they feel that way. this is coming from a "caucasian" male.
