On the song, which was co-written by a slew of talents -- Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Antonio Dixon, Patrick "j.Que" Smith, Shea Taylor, Larry Griffin, Jr. and Caleb McCampbell -- lady B rides the upbeat piano tune as she croons about a no-good lover she won't take back into her life.
While the song is a departure from her female power anthem, 'Run the World (Girls),' the Texas native shines on the ballad -- there's no need for choreographed dancing to accompany these vocals when her tone celebrates the fact she's gotten away and she's "so through with that."
The BoomBox will release an exclusive track from Beyonce's '4' LP daily over the next five days, completing the full album listening experience on June 22. 'I Care' has already made its debut.
