"Did my own little thing using some other thing I did," Drake posted to his October's Very Own blog, along with a download link for 'Trust Issues.' Hopping on another moody and slow Noah "40″ Shebib beat -- the last song Drake leaked was the equally melodramatic Shebib-produced 'Marvin's Room' -- Drake sings his 'I'm On One' lyrics like he's been sipping on a cocktail of ecstasy and muscle relaxers since his time in the studio with Khaled.
'Trust Issues' ends up channeling tracks like 'What You Need' and 'The Morning' by his new favorite artist the Weeknd, as Drizzy laments about not wanting to "trust these bitches, they might catch me slippin'."
'Trust Issues' will not be on Drake's sophomore album, 'Take Care.' He says the track was "just a fun thing I did while writing on one." In addition to 'Marvin's Room,' Drizzy released the Jai Paul-sampled tune 'Dreams Money Can Buy' last month, which does not appear to be tied to his new album.
'Take Care' is due on Oct. 24.
