"One of the reasons my ex-husband and I broke up is that he stopped eating my food," Scott told U.K. newspaper the Guardian. "He was pissed [off] for other reasons, but the best way to show me was by leaving what I'd made for him uneaten for days on the kitchen counter. It was a smack in the face."
Following her divorce the Grammy winner began a relationship with her drummer, Lil John Roberts, whom she has since split from, but shares a two-year-old a son with. Scott gave birth to Jett Hamilton Roberts in 2009, and revealed that her toddler also shares in his mother's love for food.
"I panicked when my son, Jett, stopped eating baby food," she said. "He's only two but his food vocabulary is fantastic. He likes my baked tilapia and string beans with chopped garlic. But he really likes pizza. Sometimes every inanimate object to him is pizza."
Since taking time out of the musical spotlight, Scott has reemerged, releasing her fourth album 'The Light of the Sun,' which hits stores today.
