Young Money MC Nicki Minaj and singer Justin Bieber, who announced the category, accepted the award on 'Ye's behalf.
Leading up to the winning announcement, Minaj and Bieber faced off to see which of their fans were more loyal. The Chicago rhymer is also up for a total of three awards, including the coveted Video of the Year trophy for his single 'Runaway,' where he will go up against Marsha Ambrosius, B.o.B, Chris Brown and Keri Hilson.
