The dance floor-tinged track, which is the lead single from Paul's forthcoming new release, sounds exactly as you might expect -- the Jamaican crooner does his typical dutty R&B accompaniment thing, while the 17-year-old former 'America's Got Talent' contestant belts out her club-suited vocals over StarGate's unmistakeable production (which sounds exactly like their previous work on Keri Hilson's 'Lose Control' and Rihanna's 'What's My Name').
Whether the song is strong enough to launch Sean Paul's comeback remains to be seen. For an artist who has been silent in recent years, his latest offering brings nothing new to the table, triggering a mere twinge of nostalgia, but hardly inspiring a revival of interest.
