While Kanye West and Jay-Z's long-awaited collaboration album 'Watch the Throne' was not released on Independence Day, as some had hoped, it has become available for presale via dedicated artist site WatchTheThrone.com.

Kanye tweeted the link on July 4, along with an image of album's ornate gold cover artwork, which is elegantly name and title-free, and was designed by Givenchy Creative Director Riccardo Tisci.

The artwork's style is in keeping with Kanye's description of the music, which he has referred to as "couture hip-hop." Although very little further info is known about the release, G.O.O.D Music signee CyHi the Prince has revealed that it is recorded, and is receiving some final tweaks by 'Ye. "They are ready to go. Right now, all the music and everything is done," CyHi told MTV. "But you know my guy -- we over here with [Kanye], so 'Ye is gonna add his last little pizzazz, and it's going to be ready for you guys soon.

'Watch the Throne' will be available in 10-song standard and 14-song deluxe editions in both CD and MP3 formats, on August 2, 2011, with reported guest features by Beyonce and Bruno Mars. The album's newest single 'Lift Off,' is rumored to be out on July 11.

A tracklist for the standard release hit the net in early June, but Def Jam has not verified its authenticity.
