Tyga Accused of Stealing 'Snapbacks Back' From a Kid

Young Money rapper Tyga recently released 'Snapbacks Back,' a freestyle with Chris Brown and a tongue-in-cheek take on Meek Mill's 'Tupac Back,' yet it appears that their tribute to adjustable baseball caps was not wholly original.

The pair are accused of stealing 'Snapbacks Back,' in title and concept from 12-year-old rapper Young Vishis, whose version was released weeks prior. Durvel Wilson Jr., father of the young MC -- not to be confused with the other Lil' Vicious -- posted 'Snapbacks Back The Tupac Remix' on Young Money president Mack Maine's Facebook page on June 10, hoping to promote his young son's music. A little over two weeks later, Young Money artist Tyga dropped his version of the song, and the same day, Wilson's post was deleted from Mack Maine's Facebook page.

"That's straight wrong, they stealing songs from a 12 yr old who takes the time to write his own material and promote himself," Wilson told HipHopWired."What he didn't remember though is that my page will still say that I added a link to his page that day. So it was a dumb move removing it. This isn't over at all, we won't stop until everyone knows how dirty they did my son/artist."

While releasing a freestyle take on an existing song is by nature derivative, stealing the concept from a pre-teen is not the greatest look. Take a listen to Young Vishis' version here, and compare it to Tyga and Brown's attempt. Which version do you think is better?
