In March, news broke that the multi-platinum selling entertainer cut managerial ties with Mathew Knowles. While Beyonce released a statement regarding the matter, saying "he is my father for life and I love my dad dearly," and he in turn said the decision was "mutual," skeptics believed there was more to the story.
According to TMZ, Mathew Knowles has filed legal papers that reveal why the '4' creator dismissed him from making business decisions on her behalf. Documents obtained by the tabloid website reveal that Live Nation Entertainment accused Mathew of having "stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that [he] was not entitled to."
However, he denies the claims, saying that Live Nation Entertainment wanted dibs on the 'Best Thing I Never Had' singer's 2011 world tour. As a result, he's looking to have a judge give him the right to ask for depositions from Live Nation employees regarding how they determined he "stole money" from his daughter.
Beyonce reportedly fired her father after her law firm conducted an audit and the results proved Mathew Knowles took money from her.
