Leading a tour through his carefully decorated 40th floor flat, Pharrell revealed that his fashion heroes are predominantly female, citing Steve McQueen, Lanvin, Alber Elbaz, Marc Jacobs and Brad Pitt as the rare exceptions.
"I feel like women are just completely dominating," the N.E.R.D. frontman told the women's mag. "It's funny because as men, we're more archetypal in the sense that, one man's an electrician, one man's a plumber, another man's a sea merchant, another guy's a computer engineer, another guy's an artist, and they all dress the part. But when it comes to stepping outside of that, it doesn't really translate as much, where women take on very different themes every day. At the end of the day, it's always gonna boil down to women when it comes to fashion."
