Though the tape is Weezy's first since 2009's 'No Ceilings,' he proves he hasn't lost a step, returning with lines for days on so many tracks it's hard to pick a favorite. Repeatedly apologizing for the delay, the Young Money leader goes in on some of the year's biggest tracks, opening the tape with his take on Meek Mill's 'Tupac Back,' destroying Big Sean's 'My Last,' kicking a heated sex-love tribute to his girl over Drake's 'Marvin's Room' and even inviting much-maligned newcomer Lil B to the celebration over Waka Flocka's 'Grove St. Party.'
Wayne flexes his dexterous flow over some unexpected tracks from the ladies as well, spitting over Beyonce's 'Run the World (Girls),' murdering Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' and absolutely demolishing hipster rap favorite Kreayshawn's 'Gucci Gucci.'
Check out Lil Wayne's 'Sorry 4 the Wait' here. 'Tha Carter IV' is in stores on August 29.
