Mariah Carey Makes Loopy Television Appearance

Mariah Carey has been relatively quiet since giving birth to twins back in April, in comparison to husband Nick Cannon, who some say hasn't been quiet enough. But the singer made up for lost time with a marathon Paula Abdul-inspired appearance on the Home Shopping Network on Sunday night (July 24).

During the brilliant, two-hour spot, Mariah made up new words, rambled about phantom butterflies and repeatedly complained about her "bleak" pregnancy, while also selling her new lifestyle collection, which includes fragrance Lollipop Bling.

"No, I didn't select that name," she confessed, unprompted. "Sorry, it was something I couldn't undo. It wasn't my favorite name, but people love it."

"It's been a long time baby, and it has been a rough road," the 41-year-old diva lamented to the polite HSN host, before Cannon took her side. "I was in February. Honey, it was bleak for me."

Gawker edited together a four-minute video of the best moments of Mariah's appearance, which you can view below, and FourFour posted a video of her 71 mentions of the word "love," which was also translated into poetic verse.

"Me-Me" stoned??-that has to be buzz kill for everyone else in the room-like she doesn't already talk to much about herself and in the 3rd person-that's a freak-I agree with certifiably insane way before twins or the 80 lb weight gain before the pregnancy-if people are not fawning over her to the point of sickness then she is on the verge of mental collapse-and really how many "push presents" did Me-Me demand??? she didn't even push she had them cut out with spinal blocks and doped out of her mind-or make it full term-babies that spend a month in ICU are premmies-course that gave Me-Me a month to get the tummy tuck with the C-section and spend a month in bed doped up while the hospital was in full charge of the care of the premmies-ya know she has several "people" helping her at home and from the looks of her she spent the last 2 months at home laying in bed doped up-hence the complete inability to finish a sentence on HSN-she should try a little harder-hawking her "gifts for the promiscuous 12 year old" to pedophiles might be her only way of making any cash-her days of making strip videos are over

Please. I liked the freak more when she was getting stoned and lying about having sex with Eminem. Give a woman a couple of kids and all of a sudden you people act like she's Donna Reed.

I think she is suffering from post pardum depression. I would not be surprised if that is what it turn out to be. Carrying one baby is rough never mind twins. Her hormones are out of whack for sure.

She is so happy and over worked at the same time. That is a big job having twins and somthing to be proud of ,having a Boy and a Girl. She is not loopy just very overwelmed thats all.

With her schedual and money why should she not have help. Are the children showing signs of neglect? What is the feeling behind your word "pllllleeeeasse"? Not enough real words in our language to correctly descrbe how you feel?

Mariah Carey played a social worker in the movie "PRECIOUS"; she was FANTASTIC...I did NOT know it was her....sad that she has to be apparently in NEED OF ONE more often than not.

I can't stand her to begin with, but now that she's had chidren...OMG...one more "DAHLING", and I'm gonna throw up. One more "BABIES" comment, I'll throw up too. What is she, the only woman to have ever carried twins??? And who the EFF does this chick think she is directing the camera guys...really? UGH...she just gets more and more repulsive. Cathy? Do you walk around with a "throw-up" bucket attached to your belt? With your lack of tolerance and animosity toward your own sex I would imagine you are sick often. As for Mariah directing the movie cameras, perhaps she thinks she is a celebrity, think? The artical's comment about having twins was in response to behavior that was less than totally predictable. A fan calling their celebrity an "EFF chick, UGH repulsive", is letting your mean side show. I don't care how many nannies I have I wouldn't want to carry twins around for 9 months. Pregnancy weight, pre, during and after can be a difficult thing to lose. "BTW she carries her "somebaby weigh"(sp) or normal dress size has not hurt her celebrity status or job performance. You are calling her arrogant and a "bitch"? Look in the mirror Cathy sweet-cheeks.
