Greg Miller, a spokesman for Soulja Boy, reportedly issued a statement to TMZ on behalf of the 'Pretty Boy Swag' rhymer, denying the claims he dropped a load of cash to fly in style. According to Miller, Soulja Boy never purchased the pricey ride and the "elaborate rumors" are "not true."
TMZ broke the news on the initial story and even spoke to Soulja directly about his exorbitant purchase. "Hell yeah... I bought it," he was quoted as saying. Shai Storm, a rep for the rapper, even backed his story.
Perhaps the elaborate lie was a ploy to gain media exposure for the Atlanta native's birthday extravaganza, which was held at Club Play South Beach in Miami. Sean Kingston, Just Blaze, Trae the Truth and Trina were just a few of the partygoers who came to celebrate the now legal entertainer's 21st birthday.
"I feel so good. This is the best day of my life," Soulja Boy revealed. "I want to thank God for letting me be alive right now."
