The video was directed by Luke Tedaldie, who previously helmed Roth's 'Gotta Get Up' clip, and depicts the bruised and battered Pennsylvania-born rapper running through a dark building, only to find himself in the midst of some kind of fight club. The dark visual combines live action filming with animation by comic artist Chris Hunt, in the same style employed on Tedaldie and Roth's prior video.
While the snippet that leaked this week is only a minute and a half, and does not include Akon's appearance, it should be more than enough to whet fans' appetites for new material from the rapper, whose sophomore album, formerly titled 'The Spaghetti tree,' is coming soon.
Pop star Justin Bieber recently confirmed that his hip-hop alias Shawty Mane will be making an appearance on the record. Besides Biebs, Roth has also completed songs with the Game and Swizz Beatz.
The full visual for 'Last Man Standing' premieres next week.
