After spending years imitating rappers like Lil Wayne, Drake and Kanye West, the hip-hop impressionist has now not only scored his own Jamie Foxx-produced Fox sketch comedy show, 'In the Flow With Affion Crockett,' he is also the star of a new ad for Rocawear, imitating the company's owner, Jay-Z.
Appearing in the spoof of Jay's infamous 'D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),' Crockett announces the "death to other clothes," rapping, "This is anti-other clothes/ Death to your wardrobe/ This ain't for linen pants/ This ain't for plush robes/ This Young Carter at the opera, fitteds on/ I get thug in ya church with my denims on."
Crockett then segues into a send-up of French hip-hop dance duo Les Twins' interpretive Rocawear ad, to the tune of Jay's 'Venus vs. Mars,' dancing comically.
'In the Flow with Affion Crockett' premiered Sunday (Aug. 14), on Fox.
