The Cary Stuart-helmed doc, which is entitled 'The (R)evolution of Immortal Technique,' was shot over the last seven years, following the 'Industrial Revolution' rapper around the globe, making stops in Afghanistan, France and Norway as well as his native Peru, performing for packed crowds and discussing political issues.
Featuring appearances by hip-hop luminaries like Ice-T and KRS-One as well as revered civil rights activist Dr. Cornel West, and actor Woody Harrelson, the doc will be available for streaming live from its premiere at the Harlem Film Festival via Skype, followed by a Q&A with the director.
"Immortal Technique emerged from prison a changed man. As his inner journey continues he travels the world promoting a revolution of consciousness through hip-hop," states the film's IMDB page. "His path from a troubled youth to a fearless revolutionary is an inspirational must-see."
