Lauryn Hill 'Writes Obituary Onstage' During Set in Toronto

When Lauryn Hill takes the stage to perform as of late, the result is either hit or miss. Sometimes she's good and sometimes she leaves crowds wondering why they paid hard-earned money to see her crash and burn. The latter seems to have happened on Thursday (Sept. 8) during her performance at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, Canada.

According to the National Post, the former Fugees member's set was compared to an "artist writing their own obituary on stage." From flailing arms to a faulty sound crew, Hill's center stage show as part of the Rock the Bells tour, alongside Nas, was a disappointment.

The new mother, who just gave birth to her sixth child in July, was met with audience jeers of "You f---ing suck!" when she didn't meet expectations and reportedly showed up an hour-and-a-half late to the show -- a habit that dates back to a January performance in Atlanta, where she arrived three hours late.

'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' creator will grab the mic again as part of the Rock the Bells concert series on Sept. 24, when she arrives in Boston, along with Cypress Hill, Erykah Badu, Mos Def and Talib Kweli as Black Star and Common, among others.

To all Black women in entertainment... You can take only so many Cocks in your life and strings of babies before you lose it all. No one can change diapers for a bunch of rug rats then get on stage as if your vagina was still fresh and 20. These singers including Eryka Boo Boo breed like child hungry Mexicans, their bodies are torn down from pushing out too many love childs. 6 damn kids with lord knows how many useless baby daddies is way too much to be a star.

Sounds like you have "Mommy Issues". Why are you so angry? What's your excuse? Looks like these women in question haven't "lost it all", as you say, if they are still being sought out. In other words, shut your leaking mouth hole; your argument is invalid.

No problem with her. I hope she gets the help she needs. My problem is with the idiots who keep writing these teaser titles that have nothing to do with the acual facts of the article. To the writer: They likened her behavior to writing her own obituary on stage. She did not actually write her own obituary.

I saw her at Jazz In The Garden in Miami. What a mess. When your finish just hang up the towel. She making everyone dislike her.
