In the video, the 20-year-old singer, who moved from Yugoslavia -- now called the Republic of Kosovo -- to London, England shortly after she was born, discusses her heritage, her career and her debut album, while taking fans through a tour of her Notting Hill neighborhood, and into the studio for a preview of what's in store.
"I'm so excited for this album to come out, you have no idea," she says in the video, revealing some of the artists she's collaborating with on her debut. "I've been working on it for two whole years, and I've been working with some amazing people, like Chase & Status, Stargate, Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, will.i.am, Drake, the list goes on. It's an amazing album. I can't wait for you to hear it, and I'm so honored to be working with them."
The blonde performer also opens up about her roots, explaining that she has dedicated her career to her country. "It was hard growing up when I was younger, cause I moved from Kosovo, and I wish I was around my people," Ora reveals. "I think Kosovo, as a nation, we're very proud of where we're from. It's such a small place, so anyone that succeeds from there is just a big deal. So I'm doing this for my family and for my country as much as anyone else."
Ora was quietly signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation in 2009, and had a cameo appearance in his video for 'Forever Young.' She also starred in Drake's video for his 2010 smash 'Over.' There is no word as to when her debut will be released.
