Usher Attacked by Woman for Parking in Handicapped Spot

Robyn Beck, AFP

Usher was planning to engage in an early Halloween celebration but instead of partaking in the festivities in a positive light, the R&B crooner was met with negativity by a woman who attacked him for parking in a handicapped spot in an Atlanta lot.

TMZ reports that the 'Raymond v. Raymond' creator arrived to the Little Points Halloween Parade, where he parked his black SUV into a spot that was reserved for those with a handicap. Usher was met by a screaming woman, who grabbed at his shirt and tried several times to swing her arms at him. Bystanders dressed in costume -- an Elvis impersonator was among them -- helped to prevent the woman from getting close to the singer.

According to the video, the woman is taped screaming and attempting to accost the 'DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love' performer in front of her child. "You don't belong here!" the woman screams at Usher. Sources tell TMZ that she was eventually lead away from the fracas by her husband.

Usher is very WRONG in taking the initiative to PARK in a handicapped space. I see his suv still parked as the credits roll... HE IS IN THE WRONG AND NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE BIG FAT TICKET THAT IS DUE ANYONE WHO "BREAKS" THE LAW!

One thing I forgot to add... Be careful who you yell at that park in handicapped spots. Once time my brother, a quad, said something to some guy because the psycho parked in a handicapped spot and my brother had to park far away since this guy jumped in front of him and took the spot my brother was waiting for. Well, this guy started cursing and screaming and CHASING my brother saying he was going to kick his ass. My brother was in a panic and all he could do was put his chair in full throttle!!! THESE ARE THE TYPE OF PEOPLE that park in handicapped spots that don't have the right! So, BE VERY CAREFUL who you say something to.

GOOD FOR HER! Since becoming disabled in 2002; I now relize how valueable those spots are and I also chew out perfectly able people for parking in them. He may be famous BUT there isn't a darn thing wrong with him physically. Just a disgrace!

My view of Usher has been changed after reading this. I thought he was an okay guy....don't know/hear a lot about him.....but by parking in a spot reserved for those with a handicap, I can't have any respect for him. I've seen him dance---his legs work perfectly for walking from a regular parking space. Oh that's right, he's not 'regular', he's famous, why should he have to park in a regular space?? Sheesh, get over your damn self.

what up fool!!!

The smart thing to do was to notify the authorities. Taking a chance like that is a odds you'll lose kind of bet. If chance she happened to strike the young man he has every right to defend himself or others, thus possibly inflicting serious bodily damage. No jury in the world would convict the entertainer. He (said entertainer) would in turn sue and drunk mama would end up working at Hooter's making hot wings. However if this happened in Florida near Casey Anthony...the outcome would be totally different

If you park in a handicapped parking space and you are not handicapped, I believe you should be by the time you leave.
