LoLa Monroe, a former video vixen who retired from modeling in 2009, to focus on her rap career, revealed to Atlanta radio host Greg Street in a recent interview that she is officially part of Wiz's heralded Taylor Gang.
"We got it in with Taylor Gang. We Taylored now," the 25-year-old Ethiopia-born rapper explained. "Wiz is like a positive, free individual that's about his business and that matches everything I've created on my side. When he reached out, he was like, 'I feel as though our movements represent the same thing, so I want you to rep Taylor Gang.' And I agreed, so it's only right."
Monroe, who leads her own "Bosset Movement," and was recently nominated for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the 2011 BET Awards, continued to lavish praise upon her new boss, Wiz.
"Out of all the situations that came to me, my business instincts and just the comfort level, I felt it was just the right move with him," she said. "He's a stand-up dude and it just felt right."
LoLa, who released a mixtape called 'Untouchables' with Lil Boosie back in 2009, is currently hard at work on her debut album, and will be releasing a new single in November.
