The rhymer, Jomo "RoseMo" Zambia, was gunned down while driving in Inglewood on Wednesday (Nov. 2), losing control of his car and crashing into an unmarked police cruiser. Zambia later died at a local hospital. He was 26.
Zambia had recently engaged in a Twitter war with Game, which escalated to Zambia claiming that he had confronted and K.O.'d the Compton rapper at Los Angeles' Fox Hills Mall, in front of his son.
Zambia was involved in a similar Twitter battle with Inglewood rapper Boskoe, whom he was later filmed assaulting.
Inglewood Police Detective Gabriel De La Torre told the L.A. Times that they did not believe Zambia's shooting was linked to his alleged fight with Game.
"Our investigation is leading us in a different direction," De La Torre stated, although he did reveal that they are further looking into his activity on Twitter.
