"I'm Great ppl 4 all who keep asking!" Missy tweeted yesterday (Nov. 20), as fake death reports began flooding the Internet. "Alive and well! Enjoy ya night tweeps!"
The site behind the bogus story has a penchant for such phony posts, and in the past, Tiger Woods, Will Smith and other celebrities have been the subjects of premature obits.
Responding to a tweet from a fan, Missy seemed unfazed by the gossip and ready to move forward.
"I'm done addressing the foolishness!" she wrote. "IM ALIVE! God will deal with those who play about things like that!"
Missy, who revealed earlier this year that she's battling the autoimmune disorder Graves disease, is gearing up to release her long-awaited seventh studio album, 'Block Party.' If nothing else, this weekend's death rumors might spur her to further assert her vitality on record.
"Yea Sadly sum1 was that miserable to make up such a cruel rumor!" she tweeted. "It Makes me work harder make em mad!"
