Atlanta rap vets Ludacris and Big Boi have agreed to join R&B singer Ciara for a roller skating jam to end hunger.
Presented by longtime music industry executive DeVyne Stephens and his non-profit DeVyne Intervention, the 2011 Roll Over Hunger Charity and Skate Jam will offer 100 percent of its proceeds directly to the Hosea Feed the Hungry Foundation Holiday Dinner Program. The organization provides four major meal service events for Atlanta's homeless, serving over 200,000 hot meals annually.
Also joining Ciara, Luda and Big Boi will be producers Polow da Don, DJ Toomp, Atlanta Hawks star Josh Smith and actress Demetria McKinney.
The 2011 Roll Over Hunger Charity and Skate Jam takes place from 9PM to 2AM on Wednesday (Nov. 23), at Cascade Family Skate Center in Atlanta.
The drive is already showing results. Just last week, B.o.B. dropped by to donate $10,000 to the Hosea Feed the Hungry Foundation, challenging his fellow MCs to do the same.
"The next artist to offer up 10 stacks, I'll put up another 10 stacks for the same foundation," the young Atlanta rapper declared.
