First up, Cypress Hill have announced the date and lineup for their 2012 Smokeout Festival, which is set to take place on March 3, in San Bernardino, Calif.
The all-day music festival will feature over 20 artists on two stages, and will be headlined by fellow weed enthusiast Wiz Khalifa, nu-metal band Korn, reggae rockers The Dirty Heads, Rock en Español pioneers Café Tacuba, reformed ska punk band Sublime with Rome, and of course, the festival's founders, Cypress Hill.
Organized in partnership with Rock the Bells and Paid Dues live events company Guerilla Union, the Smokeout Festival will also feature a medical marijuana expo, and a "private and peaceful" patient consumption area for California medical marijuana patients, along with a stoner-friendly "Massive Munchie Garden."
The Smokeout Festival will take place at San Bernardino's NOS Events Center, the same location as Paid Dues 2012, which goes down a month later, on April 7, featuring headlining acts Wu-Tang Clan and Odd Future.
Additional artists for both events will be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets for the Cypress Hill Smokeout festival will be available starting Wednesday (Dec. 14), at 10AM PT. For more information, click here.
