Tupac Sex Tape Sells to Private Collector, Not Porn Company

Following a bidding war between rival porn companies, the unnamed individual in possession of a 1991 sex tape featuring Tupac Shakur has sold the footage to a "private collector," according to TMZ.

The news follows October's reports that the owner had rejected a $150,000 offer from the website YouPorn.com, finding that figure "way too low." Days later, the CEO of anti-hangover beverage NOHO pledged $1 million simply for the soundtrack -- an unreleased 'Pac track no one has heard.

In the end, sources told TMZ the owner deemed the cash-waving pornographers "parasites." While the mysterious buyer, who paid an as-yet-undisclosed price, could one day make the material available, reps for the late MC's family said they plan to keep that from ever happening.

While people hoping to see the 'I Get Around' rapper, um, get around, are out of luck, fans pining for that never-before-heard tune can at least take solace in the countless other posthumous tracks that have emerged since the artist's 1996 death.
