Stars Without Makeup: Rihanna, Beyonce + More Revealed

Getty Images

From afar, the life of a celebrity always seems picture perfect. With hair and makeup teams in tow, the ladies of the hip-hop and R&B world tend to look glamorous from the time they step out of their front doors to the moment they walk back in. Fans don't get that extravagance, but, at times, neither do the stars they covet.

Yes, the red pouty lips, gold-colored eyeshadow and curled tresses are removed every now and then to showcase a clean face and natural hair. However, without the makeover, do the industry's top chanteuses like Rihanna, Beyonce and Janet Jackson still snag a spot at the top of sexy lists? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, of course, so take a look at 11 ladies who dare to hit the streets without makeup.

Without Makeups?
How about without "pizzas" hanging from ears, too?

I used to be quite beautiful, but that was long ago and far away. And now, i am in old age and my outside beauty is but a memory. And so I try to emit my inner beauty and in doing so, may I wish everyone a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year !

"Pretty is as pretty does and beauty is only skin deep".... an old saying my Grandmother used to recite as I was growing up. The majority of us, regardless of ethnic background, have to accept what we were given, and do the best we can with what we have. Women ( I am female) seem to struggle with that much, much more than men. I don't know very many women at all who don't look at least a little bit different when the makeup comes off. Thankfully, most of the men who care about us accept us the way we are and love us anyway. Too much is made of what someone looks like....skin color has very little to do with it. Having a beautiful face may get you in the door, but what you do after you walk through it is what really counts. My opinion only....no disrespect intended.

We are Beautiful, in every single way! It does not have to be only white, and I am white, and look like Christina Aguilera, but that does not make me think I am better than everyone else. I think women of Color are Beautiful too, and that is what makes everyone unique, so don't try to change for anyone. Embrace who you are, and Enhance, if you want too. Nothing wrong with that. We are all Beautiful, Naturally too. We do not always have to wear makeup. I am lucky I was born with Good Genes, but hey, I find Beauty in Everyone,. We all have something to give! Whether it be a Beautiful Person, Soul, or just a just a Decent Human Being! GIGI
