The Toronto crooner debuted his third mixtape, 'Echoes of Silence,' on Thursday morning (Dec. 22), via his website, and just three days later, tweeted to announce that he would re-release 'The Trilogy' as a remastered package with bonus features in the coming year.
"I can't wait to re-release The Trilogy as a package, re-mastered for you to collect with bonus features...#2012," he wrote.
While The Weeknd has been typically vague with regard to the nature of the release, 'The Trilogy' will reportedly include songs from The Weeknd's previous mixtapes, 'House of Balloons,' 'Thursday' and 'Echoes on Silence,' along with special guest features, like his longtime supporter Drake.
While fans await the pending release, check out The Weeknd in The BoomBox's list of 24 Moments and People We're Thankful for in 2011, where he landed at No. 9.
