The song, titled 'Make Your Move,' is an uptempo groove that's full of kicking drums and the deep bass of a guitar. Wale commences the tune rhyming of a woman on his mind. "If you're not an angel, then tell whoever heaven lie/ Blasphemy, you the only thing running getting cash for me," he raps.
The Harlem girl coos sexily with "I can't sweat him, he's got the best of me/ I got to get him/ Gotta forget him, he's got a hold of me/ I got to get him."
Taylor wants her man to make his move and belts out lyrics commanding just that on the soulful song. She even throws out a few Michael Jackson-inspired ad-libs in the process before 'Make Your Move' comes to a close.
