In the video, which was uploaded to YouTube in 2010, a youthful looking Kanye appears on a stage at a showcase with another rapper Phenom. The production savvy rhymer commands the stage, moving about with his mic in animated fashion at a Chicago venue called Double Door.
The quality of the clip won't make its way to the silver screen but there are a few lyrical gems 'Ye displays during his brief set. Lines like "We're known from Massachusetts to Henley Park" or "Your rhyme style is useless, with dying ass Eazy E, who's f---in' ruthless" shows the '808s & Heartbreak' creator had a larger than life mentality and strong opinion even at the age of 19, roughly his age at the time of this performance.
Before capping off his stage show, West left the audience with some parting words. "Sexy n----s represent, it's evident," he rapped.
Besides his rap career, West has recently embarked on a new endeavor: spinning records. He welcomed in 2012 as a DJ, mixing music at at the opening of 1OAK nightclub at the Mirage in Las Vegas. During his sets, the 'Watch the Throne' rhymer debuted songs that are reported to appear on his G.O.O.D. Music album with Kid Cudi, John Legend and CyHi da Prynce, among others.
