As it turns out, Heder really doesn't know what it means. In a recent interview with Fuse TV, the 'Napoleon Dynamite' actor said he's "not quite sure" why 'Ye and Jay sampled that bit of dialogue, but he figures it's a compliment.
He also joked that when he first heard about his unauthorized cameo, he thought about making a little bank.
"What's going on here?" Heder told Fuse, sharing the question he asked his management when he first heard the song. "Is there some kind of compensation happening?"
The comedian said he was subsequently told that "the glory of the song is your compensation," and once he acquainted himself with the track and reveled in its smoothness, he was down with it.
Responding to the question of whether he now feels like he's part of music history, Heder told Fuse that we should perhaps hold off on calling 'Watch the Throne' an all-time classic.
"We have to give it probably a few more years to see if it's history," he said.
